Verify your customer's delivery address before the first box goes out

When a new customer signs up, the fastest way to blow the first delivery is a wrong or half-finished address. A missing apartment number, no gate code, a map pin dropped on the wrong side of the street, and now your driver is circling the block or leaving a box somewhere it shouldn't be. Not a great first impression, and it costs you a redelivery.

There's a new post-signup email you can turn on to head that off: Address Verification. Right after someone signs up, it shows them the delivery address you have on file and asks them to give it a quick once-over. Two buttons, that's it:

  • Yes, my address is correct confirms it as-is, one tap, done.
  • No, I need to make a change drops them right onto their delivery page to fix the street, add an apartment or gate code, leave driver instructions, and drag the map pin to the exact spot.

Either way you get a verified address before the first box ever leaves, which means fewer failed deliveries and fewer "where's my box" emails landing in your inbox. If they tap the green button, they land on a simple all-set screen and there's nothing else for them to do.

And if they need to fix something, the other button takes them straight to their delivery page, where they can update the address, add an apartment or gate code and driver notes, and nudge the map pin onto their exact door.

It's off by default. To switch it on, go to Settings → Software Misc and flip on "Send a post-signup Address Verification email."

One nice touch: if you run pickup locations or coops, the email automatically skips those folks, since there's no home address to verify for them.

Give it a try!
