Shop Anytime

Let customers shop for their next delivery any day, not just when the order's open.

On most delivery stores the shop is only "open" for a day or two, from the Friday email until the route cutoff. The rest of the week your customers can look but can't add a thing. Shop Anytime removes that wall: they fill a cart whenever the mood strikes, and it drops straight into their next scheduled delivery.

Nothing gets lost. Nothing waits for a cutoff. They shop on their schedule, you fulfill on yours.

The Shift

From a shop that's mostly closed, to one that's always open.

Before

"Come back Friday."

A customer remembers on Tuesday that they want to add coffee to their box. The shop is closed until the weekly email goes out, so they either try to remember days later, email you, or just forget. Guests browsing your site for the first time can look, but they can't do anything until they're a full customer with an open order.

With Shop Anytime

"Add it now, it's handled."

That Tuesday shopper adds the coffee in ten seconds and gets on with their day. When their next order builds on its normal schedule, the coffee is already on it. First-time guests fill a cart before they've signed up, and it carries through the sign-up process with them.

What It Does

Shopping that fits real life.

Three things make this feel effortless for your customers, and take zero extra work from you.

Shop any day of the week

The cart is open all week, even when this week's order is closed. Customers add items whenever they think of them, and a live status bar shows their next delivery day, their box, and their cart count so they always know where things stand.

Auto-added to the next order

When the next order builds on the customer's normal schedule, everything they saved drops onto it automatically. No re-adding, no racing a cutoff, no "did my add go through?" It's simply there, on the right delivery.

One time, or every delivery

Right from the cart, each saved item can be a one-time add or set to repeat. Mark it "Every delivery" and it becomes a true recurring line on every future order, so the staples they always want show up without them lifting a finger.

Turn Browsers Into Customers

First-time visitors can shop before they sign up.

The old flow made new visitors wait: look around, then come back once you've got an open order. That's a lot of ways to lose someone who was ready to buy. Now they can start filling a cart the moment they land.

Fill a cart with no account

Guests browse your real products and add what they want, the same as a signed-in customer would.

Enter a zip, see a delivery day

Drop in a zip code and they instantly see their estimated delivery day, so the whole thing feels real before they commit.

The cart follows them through signup

When they're ready, they move into your normal sign-up process and everything they picked comes with them onto their first delivery.

The Flow

Three steps, and it runs itself.

Step 1

They add, any day

A customer or a first-time guest adds items to their cart whenever they like, open order or not, and marks anything they want as a recurring staple.

Step 2

Kiva holds it safely

Everything they saved is held against their account (or their guest cart), waiting for the next order to come around. Nothing expires out from under an active customer.

Step 3

It lands on the next order

When the next delivery's order is built on the normal schedule, the saved items are placed on it automatically, recurring items become true repeats, and your fulfillment runs exactly as it always has.

Common questions.

Does shopping anytime change an order that's already closed?

No. A closed order stays closed and locked for your packing and routing. Anything a customer adds during the week stacks up for their next delivery, so your current run is never disturbed.

What happens with a guest who never signs up?

Their cart lives on a cookie so they can come back and pick up where they left off. Guest carts expire after a stretch of inactivity, while a signed-in customer's saved items are kept until their order is built.

What's the difference between one-time and recurring?

A one-time item is added to just the next order. A recurring item is set to "Every delivery," so it's placed on every future order automatically, perfect for the staples a customer always wants.

How do we turn it on?

It's a per-store setting we switch on for you, with sensible limits like a cart cap and a guest-cart expiry window you can tune. Once it's on, your customers just start seeing the shop open all week. Ask us to enable it and we'll get you set up.
