Favorite Icon Overhaul
Favorite Icon Overhaul
We've completely overhauled our favicon system with exciting new capabilities and automated processing!
What's New
- New Icon Sizes: Now includes 512x512px icons for modern devices and platforms
- SVG Support: SVG icons are now automatically generated for scalable, crisp display
- Automatic Migrations: Your existing icons are automatically upgraded - no action needed on your part
- Centralized Processing: Icons are sent to our central Kiva Logic API for professional processing
- S3 Storage: All processed icons are stored in AWS S3 and served reliably through your site's header
How It Works
The system works seamlessly behind the scenes:
- Your site sends the icon to the Kiva Logic API
- Our server processes the image with optimizations
- The processed icon is stored in S3
- The URL is returned to your site and automatically loaded in your header
Why This Matters
Many paid services charge for favicon generation and hosting, but this feature is included in Kiva Logic at no additional cost. Your site now has enterprise-grade favicon capabilities built right in.
